OMG I am soooo excited!! Emerson was the only school I visited where I just knew I wanted to go there. Literally every single part of it I LOVED. The school focuses only on communications and the performing arts. And the major I am in looks like it is such a great program. It's theater studies-so I will get to study all different aspects of theater which seems like it would be so much fun (And I will probably never be able to get a job after college-but its ok lol).
So anyone who wants to spend time in Boston next year-you know who to call...

08:48 pm - Wagner College is a JOKE
It should not be able to call itself a place of higher education. They apparently never got my application because they don't know how to read and thought I was applying for technical theater and I had missed the deadline. I had to fight with the woman on the phone because she told me I missed the deadline for my major too-even though I didnt. Finally she told me they made a mistake and would look over my application.
I didnt really want to go there anymore because I would rather go to Ithaca over them, but still wasnt sure. This experience however made it a lot easier to choose between the two.
Still waiting for my Emerson letter which better come tomorrow. Lexie and erica's sister both got their letters today but I guess Suffern is so far from New City and Valley Cottage that it takes a whole other day for the mail to come here...

Um so I really don't use this anymore but I just felt the need to update. I got my acceptance letter today from Ithaca which was exciting. Its the first school I've heard from that I actually would want to go to. Its either my number 2 or 3 im not sure. I've heard from every school I applied to except for Emerson (my number one) and Wagner (Number 2 or 3). I really want to hear from Emerson because I'm gettin really restless and I am just thinking about it too much and screwing with myself. Sometimes I think I will get in and then I try and not get my hopes up because I don't want to be let down. And then I just think that my gpa/sats are too low and I wont get in.
I went on their website yesterday and went into this pin number they gave me when I submitted my application and there was a thing you could click on to subit a tuition/housing deposit. It wasnt there last time I checked it (In december) and I don't know what it means. Did they put it on everyone's? Does it mean I'm in? Is it a mistake? I'm tryin not to think about it too much, but its really hard. We shall see in a few more weeks (2 weeks? shit thats close).
So far I have gotten into Ithaca, Hartford (Hartt), Albany, Oneonta, New Paultz, Arcardia and Pace. I got waitlisted at Geneseo. I got deffered from Early Action at emerson and should find out April 1st from them and should hear any day from Wagner (They said they start sending out decisions March 1st)

Umm so in the past week I got accepted to both Oneonta and Albany WITHOUT sending in both of their supplements. What high quality schools lol. Too bad I will not be attending either of them

01:29 pm - I GOT INTO COLLEGE!!!!!
Yay for me lol. I was talking to Gina online and I was like "oh I was just at Hartford last month for an interview-I should hear any day whether I got accepted or not" THen I decided to go check my mail and there was a letter there saying I got accepted. Even though it's my safety school its still nice to know I'm going somewhere. And I feel special because in my interview the woman said they only take about 15-20 kids each year for my major and they havent even seen everyone yet because I applied early
Ok I'll stop being self centered now

Ass good night...So me, chris and Tory went to see "Corpse Bride" in Suffern tonight (who goes to the movies on a Sunday night? WE DO!) 'Twas good. I liked Nightmare Before Christmas better, but it was still really good, and the animation was better in Corpse Bride.
Best part of the night-After the movie we are walking to our cars and Chris realizes he still is holding his huge tub of popcorn. Then we were standing around talking about horror movies. And tory said she used to be afraid of Bloody Mary. So chris goes...
CHRIS: Yeah I was too. Like when I used to be standing in my bathroom in the dark looking in the mirror...
TORY: I usually turn on the lights before I go to the bathroom...
Oh good times...Its not as funny here but I think I urinated a little in the parking lot I was laughing so hard

School started yesterday and I already hate it. All my classes are filled with stupid pot heads. I dont understand why they cant just take 8 study halls or ceramics...My classes seem ok
First period I have college marketing with Mrs.Singer. She seems fun and like she would be a good teacher.
Second I have economics with Mr.Kaplan. It's his first year here so I dont really know anything about him. His voice sounds like a cross between John Travolta in Saturday night Fever, Keanu Reeves in any movie of the 80s and the FedEx guy from mad tv (the real ADD one)
Third I have PIG (Participation in Government) with Tisi-He wasnt there yesterday and then today he spent all period talking about the new $14 million sports complex.
Fourth I have Shakespeare with Streiff. I have been waiting since freshman year to take that class and it should be fun
Fifth I have have chorus/chorus lessons. Nothing really new there
Sixth I have gym/study hall. There is no one in my gym class except Alex stern-and she has friends lol. Shes also in study hall though-so naturally we spent the whole period today
7th (yeah i got too lazy to write out numbers) I have AP stat with Mr. Schwartz. He reminds me of a really nerdy Matt Nulty. Kim and Lisa are in the class and we sat down and then he changed everyones seat using a "random statistic function" which irronically just moved us each over one seat. It was ass funny.
8th I have forensics with Barricella. The class seems like it could be really interesting or really bad. Plus the class is made up of like 30 something sophomore girls
